Community safety and well-being.
The Canadian Municipal Network on Crime Prevention (CMNCP) is aimed at reducing crime and fostering community safety. Safe, healthy, inclusive Canadian communities: the vision of CMNCP is what we all want. But to bring it to fruition, we have think outside the traditional crime prevention box.
CMNCP fosters community safety and well-being through strategies that go beyond reactive policing and the criminal justice system, and aims to increase investment in effective, evidence-based, and collaborative crime prevention strategies in municipalities across Canada.
Members represent diverse communities and collaborate to build capacity, prevent and reduce violence and crime, and foster community safety and well-being (CSWB) through training, research, knowledge exchange, and expertise.
We are committed to helping CMNCP’s vision move forwards by rebuilding their digital foundation, obtaining Google grant funding, and supporting other pillars of digital growth where opportunity allows.
OUR COMMITMENT: Continue to support the digital foundation and growth of CMNCP online.
