Tree planting for sustainable change.
One Tree Planted is an environmental charity on a mission of global reforestation. We definitely dig that, so we’ve committed to planting a whole bunch of trees with them. Our current efforts are supporting wildfire recovery in British Columbia, Canada.
Look. We could rattle off a bunch of depressing stats about climate change. But you already know what’s needed: bold action. And some positive statements:
Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80% of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity. And forests provide jobs to over 1.6 billion people and are key ingredients in 25% of all medicines.
Regenerative agriculture practices are not only good for the climate or disaster recovery. They also support the health, well-being, and healing of indigenous communities.
We’re excited to be working closely alongside OTP soon, and helping them directly expand their reforesting efforts into Nicaragua.
One Tree Planted’s FY21 Planting Report (23M trees planted!) can be found here.
OUR COMMITMENT: Plant 1M trees by 2030 with One Tree Planted.
