One Simple Wish literally has one simple wish: that every child deserves love, hope & joy. Through their innovative wish-granting platform, we can send some love to a child who needs it most. We’ll take a slice of that (or 1,000), please!
Every year hundreds of thousands of children encounter abuse, neglect and trauma in foster care systems around the world. Unfortunately, the COVID pandemic has likely made this number significantly higher. There is no quantifying the pain involved in numbers like this.
When wishes come true, kids not only have a chance to just be kids, but they can also make important connections, experience new things and find their passion – despite the things happening around them that are out of their control.
Our Chief Philanthropist’s daughter leads our wish-fulfillment decision making, with input from other young padawans in our community.
